So I can assume I won’t have any problem getting this cam to run under suse? The two I had already are not supported.

Got the cam…any hints what I have to install to get it assigned to /dev/video?

It appears this cam is not currently supported by the gspca driver under linux so not a good deal for linux only users. Product id is 4055 which is not listed.
