Linux + Cinelerra = some pretty entertaining videos

Linux Video Editing with Cinelerra

I have another Cinelerra animatic storyboarding assignment done. We had to convey a story to the audience that would persuade them to purchase our product. Mine went a little overboard, but everyone thought it was a hoot:

Here’s a WMV if you don’t do Ogg Theora

There was a time when I would rather take a 2×4 full of rusty nails and jam it through my neck sideways than try and use Cinelerra, but the more obstinately I mercilessly force myself to keep using it, the cooler the stuff I am able to do. Now, don’t confuse that with me having delusions of talent. It’s just that I can find the cooler features of the program.

For what that’s worth, take a gander at the video, and see if you get the joke. Have a good one.

Ok, that’s just gross! 🙂 BTW, your link to the WMV is wrong. It should be:

    thx! and fixed!

Why would people not “do” Ogg Theora? Scary – are there SUSE users who stay away from free software solutions?

Props, buddy, I totally agree. Let me share some thoughts. Well, there are people in the world that use this mutated, cancerous operating system called Microsoft Windows (95/98[SE]/ME200/XP/Vista). Using this operating system comparatively makes you ignorant. Thus, people may not use Ogg Theora out of the simple reason that they don’t know any better. Now, if there are SUSE users who don’t use it, please, give me their addresses so that I may go instruct them in the ninja art of multimedia on Linux. Thanks for stopping by and bringing up such an excellent specimen of a “The Emperor’s New Clothes”-esque metaphor.
